The
Civic and Religious Education Center is a service by the Pinar del Río
diocese. It was founded on JANUARY 29th 1993 and agreed by the XV Diocesan
Pastoral Council.
This introduction presents the analysis on the social situation that our
country faced at the moment of the beginning of this service. It also
has some explanations on the teachings of the Church that are the basis
and foundations of this Education Center. Besides, you can find here information
about the purpose, functioning and addressees of the Center and about
the commitment that of the sponsors to the Center. Through all these items
you can get closer to the life of this pastoral work. You can also know
and go over all the Services, Groups, and Courses sponsored by the CFCR,
its objectives, topics and addressees. These will be useful to choose
and organize the program of the Center in the different places.
This presentation will be brought up to date with the reflections made
by all the persons who are involved in this project.
